For Sale:
1965 MGB
(2 Owners)
Hello, I am assisting a friend in selling her decades long owned 1965 MGB. This car is extremely original while it runs and drives very well.
This is a two-owner car since 1965. You will be hard pressed to find a more original example of a mid-sixties MGB. The current owner has had the car since the mid 1980's and the car comes with service and maintenance records going all the way back to the 1970's!
The car runs well, starts every time and had an engine tune up six months ago. The engine was replaced by the current owners in the 80's and has had only 30,000 miles put on it from that time. The car has had very few of the 30,000 miles put on it over the last ten years but has been driven to keep all fluids moving. The car does not have the soft top but does come with a complete top frame.
The non-overdrive car is in it's original color of red and also sports the original red leather seats although faded. The car also has the full cockpit tonneau. The body is in good condition, and you will see just normal and minimal scratching and a small dent or two. The car has always been garaged with the exception of a three-month period when it was getting worked on by a local mechanic.
This car will be a true 'garage find' for the next owner who is looking for an original example of a 1965 MGB that can be driven today as is moving forward or if you choose to refresh the car and enjoy it for years to come.
The car is located in Sunland, CA. For more information or any questions please email BOTH myself and the car's owner Barbara at; russpenty1@gmail.com AND babsgb7@gmail.com
Thank you.

Restored 1956 MGA - Ran when last parked
This is my grandfathers 1956 MGA. My grandfather restored this car for most of the later part of his life. When he passed the car went to my father where he drove it from time to time when he was in Los Angeles but the car has mainly sat in the garage covered. This has now come into my possession with the recent passing of my father.
This car ran and drove when last parked. When I was down in March of this year I threw in a new battery and load of fuel additives into the tank after I drained it along with some fresh gas. I was able to get the car to fire off with starter fluid but was not able to get it to idle. Along with that I am not able to get the parking break to dis-engage.
This car is very clean and need to go to a good home where it will get the TLC it needs. The car comes with an extra set of spooked wheels and 8 boxes worth of parts and manuals.

Born: 1950; brought to US 1951; current owner purchased approx. 1975 and rebuilt w/ new ring gear on flywheel, clutch and throw-out bearing, U-joint on drive shaft and engine bearings. Recently had basic service to start the car and bring it to good running condition. The VIN is 7104. Odometer is showing 28458 but that is likely a bit low.
