If you're on MG Experience at all, you've probably seen this post from Drew Ferguson about the auction of an MGB, reportedly built for TV personality Simon Cowell, at a cost in excess of $200K.
I have so many questions -- things like "why does it say 'TURBO' on the side when it's naturally aspirated?" But my biggest question is how anyone on Earth can manage to spend that much money building an MGB? you could throw the entire Moss parts catalog at the car, drop in an LS or 2JZ (with all of the attendant body work that would require), and STILL not make it to 1/4 that price. Mystifying.
