How to Join or Renew Your SoCal MG Club Membership

In this post we wanted to help those who'd like to join or renew their SoCal MG Club Membership.


We understand that computers are not everyone's cup of tea, so we've created this blog post to help walk you through the steps of signing up for the Club in the hopes it will make your lives easier.

As you read this blog post, if you're on a laptop or desktop, you'll notice a menu bar at the top of the screen. Click "Join/Renew Now"



From there you'll pick the pricing plan that works best for you.


If you are renewing your membership or if you're an individual that's new to the club and you don't have a co-driver the Annual Club Membership is for you.


If you are new to the club and have a co-driver, you'll want to choose the New Member w/Co-Driver Plan.



Once you've chosen your Membership Plan, you'll find yourself on the Check Out Page.


Click "Sign Up"




This will take you to the Sign Up Form pop up. Fill out the form in its entirety.


Side Note:

We've had members ask us, "Why do I have to fill out all this information, when I've been a club member for 20 years? Don't you have that information?"


The answer is, yes, we have it in spreadsheets and we could manually write in all of your information for you and the other 130 members after everyone has renewed their memberships, but if you'd be willing to help us out and take a few minutes to fill out that information one more time, you'll save us a lot of time, giving us more time to focus on creating fun events, drives and tech sessions for you awesome club members!


On to the sign up form...

Make sure to fill out all the information and click "I'm not a robot" before submitting.


Another side note:

**If you get an error code or it mentions a technical difficulty, please click the "Log In" button at the top of the form, then click "Forgot Password." This error usually indicates we've got your email associated with an existing account. You'll receive an email that will allow you to reset your password and access your account. Keep in mind, you'll still need to purchase a membership plan, even if this is the case.


After you've submitted this Sign Up form, you'll see this screen, asking you for additional information, followed by the option to make a credit card payment or use PayPal.



This additional info section about whether or not you need a Name Tag.


Click "Continue" and head to the Payment section.



You MUST fill out all the info in the Payment section. We understand you entered your address earlier, but this is specifically for credit card verification.


Once you're ready, click "Buy Now."


You'll then have complete access to the member area of the website, including the ability to RSVP for events, see all other member profiles, etc.
